My name is Yoanna Yoon.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to the United States in 2000. While attending Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia from second grade until the end of high school, I quickly fell in love with eloquent language and the power it held to promote change. In the fall of 2011, I started at James Madison University and experimented with multiple majors before finally settling as a Communications major and Human Resource Development minor. I chose the Public Relations concentration to take full advantage of the power of language.
Here, I have created a portfolio of some original works to share. Thank you, Yoanna "We know what we are, but we know not what we may be." ~ William Shakespeare

About LTLE 370
For the HRD minor, LTLE 370 is one of the six required classes you must take, focusing on how people learn and what an instructor can do to maximize the learner's experience. We identified the different types of learners and created methods of instruction that best fits each category of learners. This class also has a focus on technology used in education, like Canvas and Wikipedia. LTLE 370 has taught me so much this semester about the process of learning, the system of instructional planning, and execution of educational programs.
